The most-awaited next-gen cards of Nvidia are official. At the GTC Event held in September 2022, two variants of the GeForce RTX 4080 and the RTX 4090 were revealed. The RTX 4090 card will be released on 12th October 2022 and the RTX 4080 will be released in November 2022.

The RTX 4090 card is the highest-end card in the new lineup. Powered by the Ada Lovelace architecture, gamers buying this card will experience true next-gen features like the 3rd-gen Ray Tracing Cores, the 4th-gen Tensor Cores, and DLSS 3.0 in its full glory.
RTX 4090 will be available only in one variant with a standard memory configuration of 24GB GDDR6X and a 384-bit memory interface width. It will have a boost clock of 2.52 GHz and a base clock of 2.23 GHz. The card can support a maximum digital resolution of 7680x4320. An 850 W PSU is the minimum as it will consume almost 450 W of power.
Like the previous-gen cards, the GeForce RTX 4090 will be available in a form of numerous models, which are mentioned here with details like advantages and disadvantages to ease up the selection of a card for the reader.
5 Best RTX 4090 Cards from AIB Partners
The RTX 4090 will be available in various models by various sellers. But here are the top 10 cards gamers can choose from to get the best out of all the games:
ASUS ROG Strix and TUF Gaming

The smallest ASUS 4090 card is not water-cooled and comes with 3.15 slots. The power consumption is 450 W for baseline up to 500 W. The ROG Strix is coming for the RTX 4090, 4080 12GB, and RTX 4080 16GB as well.
The 4090 card of ROG Strix has 3 a half slot design, it has three fans which are 357 millimeters long and the shroud is made entirely of metal and features a flow-through area for the third fan.
The cooler itself has a vapor chamber design with slots milled out of a base plate with seven heat pipes. This adds a bit of surface area for the heat pipes to the vapor chamber which will ease up the cooling process by dropping the temperature by five degrees Celsius.
Further Asus claims that their new seven blades fan design will allow 24% airflow and 18 or 19% static pressure more than their previous-generation fans.
Asus also says the power delivery consists of 12 plus four phases for the VRM with doubled-up 70amp power stages making two stages per phase. It also features ASUS's fan connect header to control case fans directly from the card. As for the V BIOS, the Strix features a dual V BIOS design.
Coming to the 4090 TUF gaming card, its design is very similar to ROG Strix with a thicker 3.65 slot width. There is also a velcro loop present at the end of the card for cable management.
Gigabyte AORUS:

Only the 4090 version was announced by Gigabyte for the AORUS. It is a water cold card that includes the AORUS Extreme water. The AORUS Master is a large triple fan design, which is named the Bionic Shark Fans.
The Bionic Shark Fans feature RGB LEDs in blade tips. The cooler is again a vapor chamber design with an insane number of heat pipes to spread heat into the dense fin stacks. It also features a large cut at the back to allow airflow.
Colorful iGame Vulcan and Neptune

Coming to Colorful, Colorful announced three versions for each of the 40 series GPUs. Firstly, the Vulcan series consists of triple slots and triple fan cards. The Vulcan card features a customizable 800 by 216 LCD that can be mounted either on the card itself or removed and placed in a dock inside the desk.
The Neptune Series is a line of water-cooled cards and a two-slot design with a 360 mil radiator and a white colorway. The water doesn't flow through the VRAM but rather through the central micro fins. This means this is not quite effective as the open loop system but would give good performance while graphics intense works.
Finally, the Battle Axe Series also has a triple fan design and a red-black color scheme.
MSI Suprim, Gaming and Ventus

MSI is back with cards for the RTX 4090, RTX 4080 12GB, and RTX 4080 16GB. The Suprim is the main card of MSI which is yet another extremely large three-fan air-cooled design available.
The RTX 4090 will feature a vapor chamber of 3.75 slots. MSIN squared out heat pipes and call them core pipes which helps with the contact area for better thermal efficiency.
MSI also has the Gaming Trio Series which also has a 3.75 slot width and lacks the vapor chamber design. Rather it has a nickel-plated copper cold plate with other Dual V BIOS functionality.
ZOTAC AMP Extreme AIRO and Trinity

Up next, Zotac has nine new cards under the AMP Extreme Arrow, the Trinity OC, and the Trinity Lines. The AMP Extreme Arrow is ZOTAC's flagship design between four and five slots wide with three thicker than usual fans blowing into a colossal aluminum fin stack with nine fins. The card VRM has a 24+4 phase design and a Dual BIOS.
